Dolly

0 06-03-2013 in Happy Tails (Adopted!) by staff
Dolly was pulled from the Humboldt County Animal Shelter since they deemed her to be an un-adoptable dog, she was just too shy and the shelter environment was not helping. Once out of the shelter she began to gain her confidence and blossom into a happy, friendly girl. Here is what her current foster has to say about her:

"I have her as a foster dog right now & she is doing wonderfully! She's great with my other dogs, & she has actually been helping a lot with moving sheep already. She seems to have enough confidence & bark to be able to work either cattle or sheep/goats. She would do best on property or as an inside dog since she is able to climb my 6' cyclone kennel fence & has a little bit of separation anxiety. She loves the truck. She reminds me of some McNabs & Kelpies that I have worked with, sensitive to commands & a very fast learner. She's great with chickens & getting used to cats. She'd make a perfect agility dog, she can run super fast & gracefully, obedience dog, she's very focused & will do anything for beef jerky. Ranch dog, or just family dog. She's a little sensitive, so probably no little kids pulling on her ears or anything, but her & a big kid would bond instantly."
