Georgia

4 January 18, 2019 in Happy Tails (Adopted!) by staff
Georgia is a young dog with so much potential. She has been with a foster that has grown to love her but work and health issues have prohibited him from giving Georgia all the attention and training that she needs. Georgia has been good with the older female dog that she lives with and visiting pups. She needs more social experience and would benefit from a foster or adopter with confidence and training experience. Though her looks are shepherd, her mannerisms are more cattle dog and she is ripe for some mental training work.. Her foster says she was very sweet through his recent illness!

Her foster says: "This dog is highly intelligent and has demonstrated that several times. She’s very pack oriented and SUPER loyal and loving. She will make a great dog companion for someone. She’s great with all the dogs that have visited here including an 8 week pup! She’s young and eager to learn."

Georgia has done well on supervised off-leash walks and has stayed in the yard even with the gate open when people are home. She would probably be happiest in a home with another dog so that she has someone to play with. Georgia is about a year old and thought to be a Shepherd mix. She is about 45 pounds.
