Ivy wants to be your one and only! She has an endless amount of love to give and is looking for a foster or forever home.
One year old Ivy is always happy to make a new human friend, play a game of fetch, and eat (her nickname is Lil Piglet)! Ivy likes attention and enjoys a good belly rub. She has an incredibly sweet, silly, playful spirit. She is quite food and praise motivated and is willing to give you her full attention for either. She has a good grasp of Sit and is doing pretty well with her recall.
Ivy looks like she may have been on the wrong end of some canine unfriendliness in her past. She is nervous around other dogs and hasn't done terribly well meeting them, though she has found some male dogs that have won her over. We would love to find a single-pet home for Ivy where she would continue to work on her training to enable her to be comfortable around other dogs. She has already learned to just look away from most situations that previously would have caused a reaction.
Ivy is so good with all of the people she has met that we think she would make a great family dog.. She loves to cuddle!
If you'd like to meet this little cutie for foster or adoption, please message us here!
