Raven

1 September 14, 2013 in Happy Tails (Adopted!) by staff
Raven is a 1 1/2 yrs old black female Flat-Coated Retriever mix. She is a very friendly girl that LOVES to play. Fetch is one of her favorites and when you add a pool of water she is in heaven. Raven very quickly will become your best friend and find a spot on your lap, even if your not sitting down. Her enthusiasm for life will make a great match for anyone who enjoys that same enthusiasm. She is a very happy girl that would thrive in an active home. She has been attending behavior/communication class Sunday's and has grow tremendously with her leash skills. Her foster mom has wonderful things to say about her, but Raven will soon need a new foster or a forever home because some landlords do not allow their tenants to have foster pets.

This is what Raven's foster mom has to say about her: "Hi, I'm taking care of this beautiful girl until you take her to her permanent home. RAVEN is the smartest dog there is. She learns anything I can think of. Not only does she walk very well on the leash, she follows commands such as leave it, come, down, wait, sit, halt, shake, rollover and crawl. Yep, she even knows how to play dead . She is waiting for you to teach her anything you want.

Not only that, she is a excellent indoor companion. She and I cuddle up every night . She is very well behaved indoors and has never had an accident. She loves to play in water and run, run, run. Because she is so sharp she may get bored. She needs bones to chew to keep her entertained.

Raven is a sensitive soul so rough play should not be done. She responds well to soft voices and lots of belly rubs.

What are you waiting for... come get your new best friend!"
