Frisco is a young 1 1/2 year old male, neutered black lab mix. He has been in the shelter, foster homes, and boarding facilities, since he was 6 months old. Redwood Pals Rescue has worked hard to keep him safe throughout his year of homelessness so he can find his perfect forever home. He is currently in a wonderful foster home where he is living with three other dogs and learning from them every single day. His foster parents implement structure and obedience in his new lifestyle which will help him mature greatly. He has been to behavior class's where he has gained excellent leash skills. He is EXTREMELY friendly with everyone and everything. His energy level has made it difficult to settle in a home for longer than a few weeks. We are really looking for a home to continue the structure, obedience, and time that his foster parents are implementing to give Frisco the opportunity to reach his full potential. He is a quick learner, and will make an amazing companion. He sleeps well throughout the night, likes to cuddle with his favorite person, and is house broken. This dog will be loyal to whomever accepts him in their home. It is about time this young boy settles in to his forever home, he more than deserves it. The adoption fee is $175, so only serious inquiries please. We are very firm with the price due to the fact he has spent over two months in boarding which has cost us about $1000.00, further more we do not want to see Frisco back to being homeless again, it has happened too many times for this young boy, and therefore I will reiterate only serious inquiries please. We are committed to this dog, as well as his foster family and want to see him end up in a perfect home where he will be showered with love.

Here is what his foster home has to say about Frisco: Frisco is still very much a puppy. He is pretty solid and needs a strong handler at this point. He doesn't seem to have a strong drive/prey instinct, but is curious. He has a very affectionate side to him. He is a big love and could make for a wonderful family dog. He would also make a great companion for an active single guy or gal. He's not a big barker. He rides in a truck nicely. He is super friendly to all other dogs and is not aggressive. He would simply make a great all-around companion. He would be a great opportunity for someone who wanted to bond with a dog and mold them into their adulthood.
